Montopolis

Project Overview

Montopolis is a neighborhood in southeast Austin, Texas, that is historically underserved. This neighborhood has a population of about 7,000 people with limited public recreational opportunities. The Austin Montopolis project aims to construct a basketball court for the community.

The basketball court will increase opportunities for recreation and enrich underserved communities. This basketball court had originally been requested by the community and included in the original master plan of the Roy Guerrero Metropolitan Park, but it was never built.

Current Status

All planning, design and engineering work has been completed. The project is now the implementation phase and is undergoing construction!
