The Water Trotter Urban Challenge is a fun and challenging scavenger hunt over a distance of approximately three miles. Teams of two will solve 9 out of 12 clues while exploring Austin’s local neighborhoods, the Capitol, and the University of Texas campus. Water Trotter is designed to emphasize the importance of clean water, especially in developing countries.

Sponsorship and ticket sales from this event help the EWB-USA Greater Austin chapter raise resources to construct vital water infrastructure programs in both Peru & Guatemala.

Registration gets you a t-shirt, a goodie bag, and the chance at winning AWESOME PRIZES from Alamo Drafthouse, Texas Stars, Uchi, Soup Peddler, Chipotle, and more (see below)!

Everyone is welcome: students, professionals, families, and beyond!

Girl Day 2018!

On Saturday, February 24th, we had the pleasure of meeting with hundreds of kids and talk to them about examining water quality. They tested samples from UT’s turtle pond and EWB members were able to share their ongoing projects. We heard some incredibly thoughtful questions and were able to meet some great young scientists! Thank you to everyone who came out and volunteered!

First Spring General Body Meeting!

Hello all! This Tuesday we had our first general body meeting of the semester and were so excited to meet everyone that came out. Everyone had a chance to get information on the ongoing projects in Peru and Chacaya and learn about our new international and local projects.

Our EWB-Austin board members.

Come join us for Girl Day February 24th! EWB will have many projects for our future engineers to design and explore and we need volunteers!

We’ll be meeting again, next Tuesday, February 6th at 6PM at the House of Tutors. Hope to see you all there!
